The Oklahoma City Temple along with the Dallas Temple are equal in proximity to us. They are both 2 1/2 hours away. We try to do something fun after we go to the temple so the kids feel like they got to do something fun too. Last month we headed to the science museum in OK City. Of course we used our military discount (I love having that luxury now) and spent a couple hours exploring. It even had a planetarium so we took the girls for a show and Kaiyah thought it was really neat. Laney was confused and didn't understand that it was suppose to be like looking at the sky at night when in reality it was daylight outside. Once she got over that, her thumb popped into her mouth and I swear if we were in there a second longer she would have fallen asleep. Each of us also tried out the Segway's you see Jeremy and Laney on in the pics below. Even Laney got to ride and control it. She was making the girl holding onto it jog along side her b/c when you lean forward it goes faster. Well Laney obviously felt comfortable putting her weight forward! So it didn't beat the Exploratorium in San Francisco but it was a fun day!
