July 4th weekend was great for our family. We had some much needed quality family time. Jeremy studied for half the day on Friday and then we headed to the Berkeley Marina for some fun. (The picture above is of Laney jumping. It's her latest thing that gives her the most pleasure!) Afterwards we went to a BBQ with some great friends. That night we watched the fireworks from our roof until the fog rolled in. It was a bummer but there's always next year!On Saturday went for a short hike in Tilden and then to the Little Farm. I miss the bay area sooo much! It is suppose to be 113 tommorrow here in Fresno. Having only 1 1/2 weeks left before the baby is born I would love to be at the beach right now.
Sounds like you guys had a blast! The hike looks like it was beautiful. How cool that there were turtles in the water, were they big ones? We didn't do fireworks this year, because all the kids were sick...so like you guys, there is always next year!
